Gold Jags

Does anyone know what exactly makes Gold Jags? Is it just something in the genes that makes some born gold or what?

It's a line bred Managuense developed by Jeff Rapps from Tangled up in Cichlids many years ago.

I stand corrected. They are found in the wild. Jeff just took the Gold and line bred out a more intense gold coloration. My error.

god i cant even get my keyholes to sucsessfully breed<prob cos somthing eats eggs>and this man can take and develope a line of colouration....hat of to you jeff rapps...
