Gold Jaguars from Rapps, Finally found some!!!

Hello, my order came in from Jeff Rapps. I got 10 gold jags!!!! I'm very excited to see what they turn into.
They are about 1.5 to 2 inches at the moment but have the jag body and big mouth...also they are all yellow in color....hope they keep their color...I never had a pure yellow jag before, so I'm optimistic about this batch.
I will take pic's tommorrow, they are all in bed at the moment...long trip from USA to Canada.
Any one else order any? He says they were from Germany, so that's a really long trip...... Later

I got mine a year ago. Beautiful fish. I was concerned that the Lack of pattern came from too intense line breeding. I asked Dr Paul Loiselle who said that the form is found like that in the wild. Fisherman call it king of the guapotes...because it is caught so infrequently. I have six of them. This is the largest male at 8". The same fish at six inches had no pattern. Good luck with yours. Give them some cover. They're ok at an inch or so...but they get scrappy.
