Are these pretty rare? I didn't know they existed. I might invest in a truly monster tank just for one of these alone if they are actually possible to come by.

Any differences than the regular jardini? Does it stay smaller (like the black aro and silver)? Around how much do they cost?

Lastly...Any pics??

never heard of a gold Jardini. Is it just a jardini that has more gold color than others? I have one with a lot of gold and pink, but I don't think it's "Special"

well are you talking about the 24k Jardini?? if so...ive seen those up for auction on Aquabid.com but its probably not their anymore

Their not rare. Not really any differences than the common jardini but the color...theirs just different color variations...like the ones with red tails...gold ones, and black ones....It doesnt stay smaller...besides the black and silver get way bigger than a jardini or close to size ranges. For those gold looking ones...they can be pricey just for its high grade coloring

i think they all will grow up to look the same. i havent heard of any 24k adult jar. havent really seen any darker or light coloring in jars... all the adult jars ive seen all looked like the same color to me

I know silvers and blacks get bigger than jardinis, but I was just wondering if its the same deal as the black vs. silver in that the black generally doesn't get as big.

Here is a pic of the one I have seen. Apparently this guy breeds them. He calls them RTG jardini.

EDIT here is a link to a youtube video of what looks like a younger gold jar. http://video.google.com/videoplay?d...l=8&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1

They look (to me) much different than regular jars.

OMG The elusive gold + pink jardini!!

"gold" is just a jardini with more gold in it.. some of them don't even look anymore "gold" than a normal jardini..

Wait so when all jardinis are about 5 inches they look like that guys that he has in his hand????? That isn't rare at all????

I am getting a jardini!

It depends on the surroundings of the fish... Black and Gold substrate = Black and Gold Jardini... There are no differant types of Jardini...
