What happened to the regular gold motaguense? I haven't seen any for sale in years. Does anyone else see these for sale locally? Here's some old pics of a few I found on google:

I haven't seen any in years on anyone's list or otherwise. Everyone has switched to the red variety. I'm having the same issue with green istlanum's.

I believe TPP has some for sale. They are labeled Red but the growouts look gold.

I had one about seven years ago....haven't seen one since

I had one about six or seven years ago also and now it's like they don't even exist anymore.

recon it is a fad
red are everywhere these days and soon the gold will become rare and special thus breeders will start producing them again as they can get high price
Here in south Africa we can only get reds no gold have ever come in, interestingly enough we can only get ELJD and not normal JD

I've never see red or yellow one (dovii is also rare too) in any LFS around my area but I do see them getting trade or sell within hobbyist/craiglist.
