Gold Nugget Pleco?

Can everyone give me all the info you have on these guys like:

What is the normal price for one about 2-3"?
And also i have heard that once in captivity their growing almost stops, is this true?
And also what is the minimum tank size?
I was going to set up a small community SA 20g (i think, correct me if im wrong, but the dimensions-24" x 20"high x 12" wide) and was wondering in this community with 8 cardinal tetras, 6 corys not sure which kind yet, and a gourami(i no that they are not from SA but would look good in this tank i think) and i was wondering if one of these guys could work in this tank?

Where I work they sell for 40 bucks at 3" I have a 5" one that hasn't grown much (if at all) in the 4 months I've had it. A 20 gallon would probably work well.

There was a pet store near me that had some small ones for like $80 and they were tiny.

alright so is that true that once taken out of the wild that they dont grow in captivity?

If the conditions are appropriate for them they will grow to full size in the aquarium, very few people who keep them meet their needs.

-high temperature, 30 degrees C
-constant access to food, mainly vegetable based but with occasional protein say every 2-3 days.
-high water quality, regular large water changes and good filtration.
-they also like as much flow as you can give them.

Doesn't it depend on which L-number it is? I thought the L018 got up to 14" and the other "gold nuggets" stayed 8" or under. Just trying to learn. Thanks
