Gold Nugget Pleco :)

So there was a gold nugget plecostomus at my LFS the other day and it was love at first sight. He was perfect, no rips in the dorsal or tail fins, perfect color, 37 dollars...


37 Dollars?!!??
Is that how much they are now? This guy was about 2-3 inches and not too long ago at the same store they had one the same size for 29 dollars.


Is it worth it or is it a rip-off?


Or should i just go for the OTHER perfect plecostomus there, a nize beautiful zebra pleco for 30 dolalrs

Ehhhh i got my albino sailfin around 3" for 40 bucks. As much as love the guy it was too much. I was just excited to be back in the hobby. Now I have friend at the whole sale place and we got our Gold for $8 !! Anything you can find healthy and cheap is better than healthy and expensive. my $.02

Sounds like your ready to spend $30, so why not spend $37 on a perfect specimen that you fell in love with?
