Ive got a 5" Golden nugget and a 5" Xingu royal in a 120 fine no probs.

If you can meet the feeding requirements of both, sure.

As long as you can feed a small GN in a tank that size adaquately, and not have problems with giving the Panaque too much protein that you are intending to feed the GN, with a couple of hidespots, both plecos will cohabit fine.

Your biggest problem will be avoiding proteins for the royals, while getting enough protein to the GN.
