gold nugget swollen belly

My 5-6" GN has had a swollen belly for the last 2 1/2 days, now its an eating machine so i think it may have just gorged on food that my clown loach and dats have missed, but the fact that it has not gone slightly concerns me. What could it be ? what - if anything, can i do?

cheers for the advice in2..ill give the mysis shrimp a go, fingers x'd he'll be ok though, had him around 4 yrs and will be gutted if the worse happens
btw how much salt per gal ?
