a new LFS is selling a nice 2.5-3" gold nugget for $30. im wondering a few things. is this a good price for one? also what kind of diet do they need? i've been seeing people say more of a vegie diet. i'd prolly put it in my 20g for a few weeks then move it to a 55g. i have a royal L190 and clown pleco now, would they be compatible?

$30 sounds about right, my lfs sells gold nuggets for $30. i've never kept one (been thinking about it) so i can't answer your other two questions. look it up on google.
yes they will co exist and veggie is good but if you feed your fish meat flake they will be ok 2 just dont forget about some veggie food now and again 30 is good price
