Hey guys. My gold saum is quite young and i was just wanting to know when he will really start to color up. At 2 inches he has color coming through and has amazing fins already leading me to believe he is a male. He is on a pretty good diet consisting of pellets daily with a mix of brine shrimp and blood worms with an occasional (weekly) earthworm. He isnt the boss of the tank as my jack still chases him around even though he is smaller?

with mine, it started to show some more good color around 3-4 inches, so yours isn't too far off from starting to pretty up
feed either hikari cichlid gold (color enhancing) or hikari cichlid bio gold+ (color enhancing + accelerated growth)
