Question #1. Male or female?

Question #2. Is that a egg tube or male genitals or prolapsed anus?

In 75 gallon alone. Fish is new to me and have no prior information if it has ever need of laid eggs.

Thank you

Looks female to me.

Look at the unpaired fins. Males have bright markings here, females are more subdued
Here is my male as an example

Also females carry a "Blue beard" such as Jack Dempsey females. Notice the amount of blue below the eyes, sweeping to the gill plates.
Lastly look at the angle of the forehead, males have a much steeper slope.

Thanks, What about the genitalia?

Does it look like an egg tube or a prolapsed anus that I've read about?

Thanks and I appreciate any more opinions out there.

It's her tube starting to come down, she's may be getting ready to lay. Here's a female I had just before she laid.

Females don't have to have a male around to lay eggs. That one pictured would lay every 3 weeks. Causing tons of chaos when she did.
