My Gold Saum laid on Christmas day.
they hatched out yesterday.

Mom and dad have moved a pile of sand into the pot while picking up and depositing stray fry

What are you going to feed the fry? BBS?

I feed Kens growth crumbles by size as well as Kens general hatchery flake.

Do the parents get along well? My pair clicked from day one and probably the only breeding tank in the house that hasn't given me gray hairs...lol. They spawn regularly but apparently I have to rename them Dingo's 1 and 2.

Mom and Dad do get along. I won’t keep them if they don’t.

Showing some growth. These fry are spotted brown and look nothing like the Midevils fry. Smaller from the first day as well with slower growth rate so far.

Gold Saum are doing good & the fry are growing nicely. They have no discipline though compared to the Midevils in the tanks around them and don’t seem nearly as dependent on the parents.
