Gold Saum will not eat

Well I have a little gold saum only two maybe three inch and he will not eat. He got sick about two months ago, stringy white poop, lost all his color and stopped eating. I assumed it was some sort of internal parasite so I took him out and put him in my 20Gal QT tank, I treated him with jungle meds parasite clear (only internal parasite med I can get here on the Island) and it seems to have worked as its been over two and a half weeks now since I have seen any stringy white poop and he has started to get his color back but I'm still very worried about him, he has not eaten much at all in the last two months and his stomach is getting very concaved.
I did find one thing he seemed to go nuts for and eat like a pig, Convict wriggles but that is all I have found he will eat and one pair of Cons does not breed at a rate that will nurse him back. I have tried flake, pellets, cut up shrimp and oysters but he shows no interest, tubifex worms and blood worms he goes for but just spits back out.

Any Ideas what else I should try or what else may be wrong with him?
I have aquarium salt but have not added any as of yet, should I add some?
All input would be very appreciated, I really like this little guy and don't want to lose him.

I could only get one decent pic as he does not like the camera but you can see how bad his stomach is.

I have a female that was that way when I got her....You saw this progression take place? He was normal when you got him? It must be a GT thing...
