So i just finished re-arranging their tank. I also put in a different air stone thing. Changed from a stone to a long piece of green foam tubing and put it under the gravel.

So she has now spent the past few minutes next to the bubbles, trying to catch them in her mouth. Popping most of them as they come up. Quite funny to watch.

What sort of odd/weird behaviour have you guys noticed from your Severums?

Mine doesn't appreciate my Oscar. She pretty much spends all day watching him and occasionally ramming him despite his being 4 inches longer and three times as bulky. What's interesting is during feeding time. She'll hang around the top, take a pellet or two while he goes nuts trying to eat everything in sight. Once the lid goes down after I've added everything they're going to be fed, she stops worrying about the food and gets pissed off at him instead. So, instead of trying to get a last pellet or two, she just rams him while he scarfs everything else down. As a side note, he pretty much doesn't react to her at all. It's like watching a five year old try to play football with adults.

I once had 4 green severi and 5 turquoise, and the two largest (one of each) used to have a blast killing all the others.
of course then there were just two, and they were bored for the rest of their lives.

I have a little gold that Ive only had for a week. He will already come right to the top of the tank and eat out of your hand. He also will try to eat anything you stick in the tank like a test tube or net. Funny little guy
