I just put a 5" Gold severum in with my 2 - 11" motoros and 1 - 13" silver arro. My question is will the severum bother the rays? anyone ever have this combo before? I didn't think severum were very aggressive but i wasn't sure.

nah, IME if severums do get aggressive, it's usually with, small, midwater schooling fish like tetras. i'm sure your rays will be safe.
I have gold sevs with my ray right now. The ray is actually about the same size as the sevs almost. They dont bother each other at all.
