gold tsn

is there a diference within the species of tsn cats? at my lfs they have 2 tsn that r gold... i know there suposed to be silverish, so whats the deal?

??? Unless you have a melanistic or leusitic tsn I have never seen one that was yellow. There are 7 different species within the genus Pseudoplatytoma. there are mainly differences in sizes and patterns of the stripes and spots. The largest is corruscans which is spotted and I believe the smallest is fasciatum. Hope that helps.

I had a baby gold TSN and the color faded over time. Why? Because the gold color is from the dye that shippers use to transport fish, especially from over sea.
