gold wolffish and red wolffish

Has anyone kept a gold with a red? I have an eight inch gold wolffish and was wondering if they could be mixed?

The gold will kill the red. Reds hi-fin wolves don't get big enough to hang with golds.

If kept healthy the gold will destroy the red. Gold's are pretty bad ass.
