Is this damage to my gold wolf fish's eye noticed it today his eye is huge wasn't like yesterday water prams ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 5ppm I am baffeled as to what has happened to his eye is a solo fish in a 75 I have moved some decor as he has grown as was damageing itself as he likes to burrow between the bits of drift wood in the aquarium don't this is damage to his eye.

yeah he looks like he damaged the bottom area on something.

The fish has popeye. Monitor and keep the water clean.
Consider treating with an antibiotic.

Maracyn 2 is typically used for this.
It often happens as a result of damage.

good news the swelling of his eye has gone down quite a bit I have some water life fin rot and ulcer treatment says it also treats popeye it is a five day treatment so 2 more doses then on saturday will do a 50 % water change.Going to take out some of the drift wood that I put in there when he was 4 inches would say he is about 9 inches now I think he maybe injuring himself on them as he is a lot bigger now

It’s possible he accidentally scraped against it during a feeding.

yes he also likes burrow in between the plants and driftwood so I am going to remove some of the wood to give more space on the substrate. Going to be a tricky job as he has bitten me before.
