I am thinking about getting a group of 5 small Gold Wolffish Hoplerythrinus Unitaeniatus

they are currently about 2-3in. long I was thinking that unlike other wolffish species they swam in schools in mid to top water is this true

if so then I HAVE TO GET 5 OF THEM AT LEAST

I can't for the life of me remember where but I'm pretty sure i'm remember seeing a pic of someones tank years ago on one of the old forum might have been Predatoryfish.Net but I'm almost positive that there was a school of at least 5 golds and they were in the mid to top water column range

I'm getting 3 on tuesday and I'm going to try and keep those together in a 150. I remember seeing a post here of a guy who had three of them swimming together. Looked awesome.

urm.
they do not school.
but it is possible to keep them together with ebough cover to hide if one of them decides to kill another.
they are actually the least territorial towards each each other of all wolf species.(excluding erythrinus erythrinus.)
but are still very territorial towards each other non the less.
you should watch out for aggression.
of course, you should have some dithers and of course the more the better to spread the aggression.
but youve got to have a big tank.
