For the mfk pleco guys I just got a family of golden bristle nose plecos with hundreds of little babies.
Are these the L144 golden bristle nose or are they albino because of the red eyes?
I like the way the parents leave the youngsters alone.
I love angler fish and now I'm starting to love these plecos and the crazy nose appendages!

I’ve seen albinos but are white and have the red eyes. I think these are just leucistic.

Any pleco mfk'ers can 100% ID as a golden bristle nose L144 or is it something else?
Any advice on what to do with all the babies would be appreciated thanks in advance.

Sold and bred as common albino bristle nose.

The white bn that kno4te kno4te mention are few and far between and usually are labeled as "Snow White" or some other made up common name..

Haven’t seen the true Albinos. Currently I have a red bn. To chow down on some algae.

Do the bristle nose plecos eat fish eggs?
I was thinking of adding my breeding pairs to a potential discus breeding tank and wanted something to clean up but not eat any eggs?
I wasn't sure of Plecos eat fish eggs, I would think they do in general.

Ancistrus are supposed to be purely veggie eaters but I’ve seen it take meaty foods on occasion if starved. I’d imagine if hungry it would. Mine has eaten some cut up fish on occasion.
