Ok so i picked up this nice 21-22 inch golden clown knife and put him in with my FL spotted gar that is about 16-17 inches and last night the ck was chaceing the gar trying to take a bit out of him i think:WHOA:! So what do i do, there in the only tank i have, a 110 gal and i dont want either fish to get hurt. Do they just need to establish who is in charge and then things will be ok or what?? Iv had the gar longer and if it comes down to it i will have to let one of them go, prob the CK :irked: So let me know your input or if you just want the CK.

Thanks:

Give it time OR add some dither fish for the fish to chase!

gorgeous clown knife, time would probablty help as long as your not seeing big signs of stress and or actual bad injuries time would be good. and dither fish will help although the tank is small for that

Give it some time. Add some feeder fish/dither fish (don't know how you feel about them) to take away some of the aggression. It could've just been curious to see if the Gar was a giant worm, lol.
