Well i just did this with my gar too, lol, but i got a golden CK without doing research, sorry dont get mad at me, but i have a golden CK that is around 4-5" and i was wondering when he got to about 12" how much would he be worth?

Alright wow thats more than i was expecting, when he is that size in a couple of monthes ill have to move him, if anyone would like to take him for anywhere around $30 and could pick him up locally cause i have never shipped a fish before and i dont want to risk it you can have him, prolly be about 6-7 monthes at his growth rate, not very fast at the moment
