Why do most fish shops call them Golden Datnoids? Is it because they really dont know the difference? Do they only think theres silvers and gold/yellow ones?

sometimes the stores do not know. The reason why they list it as golden is because that is the name that was given to them by their supplier. How is your dat project coming along? I just picked up 2 more dats. One of them is an oddball ntt with a hook on the bar. Total I have 5 now
ive been told by a lfs they had golden datnoids and when i got there it was a silver, i was very disapointed. lol
some of the suppliers out there do not know what the hell they are selling so they slap on any name they want and confuses alot of the buyer. the best choice for that is research what you want and take it if its the one you want. no need to be disappointed.

I ask my lfs to get some and he said he would, then a few days later I went and he said he had some and to my suprise they were all Silvers.. and he was sooo sure they were GOLDEN DATS..lol..I just left..
