Golden dorado growth rate

From what ive seen online it seems to be about 1-2" a month and then it slows at about 13". Just what ive seen. Dont take my word on it but thats what ive heard though
 
I've experienced 2+" of growth per month with several I've kept. Love them.

They are all sold. I had them from roughly 4-14" or so. Great fish but they can be hard on tank mates.
 
Mine was a smowhat fast grower till about 10 inches, then slowed down quite a bit .... I got him at 7 inches and is now 14-15 inches a year and a couple months later ... I'd say to get one over a foot in a year is quite an achievement
