sup folks, just wanna know if golden dorado can be kept with pbass, aro, and oscar? Thanks

Depends on the individual dorado. I have my Frankie with red hooks, a red tailed giant gourami and a ray. Be ready to rohome tankmates anytime because it seems they tend to get meaner with age. Having all of those fish bigger than the dorado and in the tank first will help big time with aggression.

PB may be able to keep up. Oscar and aro won't handle its aggression well at all.

How about rays with dorado? Are they compatible?

I wouldn't do it. But maybe you'll luck up. Best tankmates gornthem are brycron, tough and fast.

I've found them to be kept in check by larger dominant Asian arowanas in my experience if you are referring the same type of arowana. Previously though, my brasiliensis policed every fish in the tank and had showdowns with an aimara of the same size. But without digressing, if the dorado is much smaller than the rest of the mentioned fish, should be worth a try if tank size permits and along with plenty of normal feeding.

I've found with my past experience with Dorados that I've kept is that they usually do better with 3 or more in a group setting, unless you have a huge setup. I would have to echo with greenerinks greenerinks on it having to be much smaller than whatever tank mate you decide to add if it's only one specimen.

Arowana tend to get spooked out, when its tank mates dart around, so such fish are not recommended with dorados
