Saw some Jaguar cichlids at my LFS but they were called Golden Jags, is there any difference or is it just a fish store labeling thing?

ive never seen them I have seen Freddy fish labeled as fire jags in past , Where bout in Cheshire are you based ? im in altrincham Which lfs was it ?

Xanthic Jags are almost impossible to find, and extremely rare. I doubt it was a "golden jag" and just a lighter colored jag.
Sometimes LFSs will label a jag w/ more yellow and call them "golden jags" some female jags have a lot of yellow in them.

One of are members VRWC (Scott) had/has a beautiful xanthic jag. He was found in a LFS here in Jersey and another one of our members Darth Rohm got it for him. A beautiful fish. Maybe he'll be back around again soon. He's a great guy and I miss his posts.
