Golden red tail cat?

is this a different type of cat or is it just a color morph of the regular red tail cat and does it actually stay that small or does it get just as big as regular ones?

It's a different cat. Never heard it called that before...guess they're trying to give it a better name so people will buy it more. Here's some better info on them...

kewl thanks for the links guys i thought the info was kind of weird but i guess it was true its just not a red tail cat lol their pretty cool looking though may keep them in mind for a nice bottom dweller...

They are a pretty cool looking catfish. I have 2 that are about 8". Very aggressive towards each other though.

yeah i would only get one but i doubt its going to happen anytime soon, i would be afraid it would eat my pictus cats since it gets so much bigger

That sounds like a stupid marketing ploy to me. It would make me question buying anything from them....
