i just got a tank with the filter running today (and the lighting) and i want to ask how long till i add goldfish. i am not using them to cycle, i intend to keep goldfish in the tank.

Do you already have established tanks? If so, transfer the established media to your new filter to instantly cycle the tank. Be sure to check all your water parameters are within safe ranges before you add your fish.
