I know goldfish are kinda weak, but I this is my first aquarium and I need to make 5 posts so I can see other people's pictures.
I'm an aspiring monster fish keeper
I'm hoping to have a 1K+ gallon tank in the next year. This tank was suppose to be a Malawi tank but I bought these fish just to have something in there until I had all the rock and everything in place and now I've grown to like them alot. Guess I'll just have to buy another tank for the cichlids.
So now my tank consists of:
1 Pleco
5 Goldfish
4 Shabunkin
1 Apple Snail
1 Dragon Goby (AKA: Violet Goby)
6+ Sally Lightfoot or Fiddler crabs (found living in my rocks when I got them)
20+ Ghost Shrimp
Some live plants
A few scallops / Clams
And a bunch of barnacles.
I'm also using 2 Emperor 400's so filtration should be no problem.
I think it's prolly the coolest goldfish tank I've ever seen. Lemme know what you guys think. And yes, I know how crappy my camera is.

I don't know how my tank is working out so well. I have things in there that just shouldn't be compatible. Before I started adding salt I had a toadfish that I caught out of Tampa Bay in there for 4 days before he finally passed. My pH is always between 8.3 and 8.4. The Dragon Goby is brackish, so I think he's cool with it, but I know how the snail can't like all that salt, yet he seems to be fine. The other day I caught him eating a plant that floated to the top. He lost his grip and fell down to the bottom. He still had all 3 stems in his mouth when he landed. lol
