which one do your bass prefer? i feed my cichla feeders twice a week after a small feeding of shrimp stuffed with pellets..if i put in goldfish they ignore them..but rosie reds are gone in seconds..

If your cichla are big enough to eat gold fish, I'd go live silver sides over gold fish any day over both IMO. IME they are cleaner and seem to grow out your PB faster then those dirty oh gold fish.
I keep my silver sides and fat heads in their own tanks as well and treat, I also feed them Hikari. I found they are bigger and cheaper than gold fish or Rosie's and IMP better then petsmart feeders.

In the summer i can trap my own minnows....but only when they are hangn around. But i only feed them when i wanna watch the big boys go crazy!
Yeah.. Like I said their sold here for $1.09 a dozen at Gander Mountain & Local bait shops. Sometimes the size ranges quite a bit too, Like I'll buy 13 dozen silver sides and they could range anywhere from 5" to 1".. I've gotten some HUGE ones. The fat heads are always smaller so I'll usually grab a few dozen of those too for 99 cents a dozen.
