Hi, yesterday ive noticed 2 of my goldfish has a new patch of white color in a place that previusly was orange. one of them has it on his forhead and the other on the "connection " of his back to his head . Its weired that its came out of nowhere and in both of them in the same time. Do you hink it might be a disease? Ive attached videos, its not very clear ,but try to understand which is the fish that im trying to focus on.
this is the first one
this is the second. its much smaller and harder to see

Would post some water parameters for now. Can’t see much on the video.

Video is hard to see could you post a still shot? Possibly bumping into something? Not sure though as it is hard to see.

I'm no expert in fish disease, but I can help you to help yourself.

Familiarize yourself with this: https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/...ealth-diagnostics-read-before-posting.210102/ if you follow the instructions in that thread, people will be able to help you much quicker and easier.

Also, if you can get better pictures of the fish in question, that would help too. The fish in the videos don't really cooperate, and they're rather short making it even harder to make out what's actually happening.

Good luck. :)

As above posted.
It isn't unusual for goldfish color to change
Or for patterns to develop, shift etc, some goldfishes color will change their whole lives, constantly changing colors.

I was going to add this but figured it was better left unsaid until disease was ruled out... But too late now. :P

How often do you change their water?
How much do you change each time?
Do you vacuum the substrate when you do water changes?
What water conditioner do you use?
How often and how much do you feed?

9 goldfish of any size is a lot for a 40ltr tank. Even with light feeding you would need to do 50%+ changes every day to keep the water in check.

If you have 10ppm of nitrates after only 1 day in the tank you'll need to be very diligent to keep the water clean. 50% daily and once a week take it down to fin level would be my schedule, but most importantly get them out of there asap.

You can keep them in small swimming pools until you can get a bigger tank, mine are in a 6000ltr+ (1600ish gal) pool in my back yard, you can get smaller ones though. Or I've heard of some people keeping them in large rubbermaid tubs as well, but I've never personally done this.

Keep trying for better pics or even a better, longer video, eventually one of them will be clear enough. They don't need to be professional quality. And remember that every little bit of information helps. :)
