i know they are not monsters but im going to ask anyway i heard you cant keep feeder goldfish in the same tank as fancy goldfish ones is this true?

Common Comet Goldfish tend to out-compete Ornamental Goldfish for food.. Also Comets tend to get aggressive when they mature and decide they want to breed.. I have heard stories of comets 'bashing' up against ornamentals, which apparantly is breeding behavior, but the fancy goldfish can't handle it.

Its possible but you better have a big enough tank because Fancy Goldfish need at least 20g per full grown fish and when feeders are full grown I think you need at least like 50g per fish.

Not really an answer but this feder is 8 1/2 inches and growing
