my goldies are in warmer water but i was wondering would i be able to put my crowntail betta in with my twin tail comet?... i kno bettas dont like long finned fish but my goldie is like 5 inches ( without tail) do you think the betta will bug him?
i'd be more worried about the goldfish bugging him, they tend to get curious and might nibble at those long slow moving fins. mine kept taking pop shots at my white clouds, loaches and sunfish until they figured out that 1) they couldn't catch them and 2) the was a lot easier sources of food. after about a week they settled down and stopped trying to taste everybody, that could really damage a betta.do you think the betta will bug him?
Aquaman_95;1544663; said:Yes it would be fine. I have had experience with bettas with goldfish. Goldfish can be placed in warm water. I have two bettas ( male & female ) in my 30 gallon with platies and goldfish so they will be fine.
