does anybody know if i can put a goldnugget pleco in with my african cichlid tank

It depends on what kind of water you keep your Africans in. Plecos do well in softer water (in general), while Africans do better in water with a higher Ph, etc. If you're keeping them in tap water at normal Ph, then sure, a goldnugget will do fine.
