i have caught some of my biggest largemouth at golf courses ( my biggest at a golf course was 6 lbs) has anyone else tried this, if so tell me about it

Yeah you can normally catch some nice sized fish at golf courses. Normally not alot of people fish those ponds or normally people are not allowed to fish those ponds. I have caught some really nice fish at the shamerock golf course. But that was years ago. I don't think they allow any fishing there any more. They also used to have some really big Koi in the pond.

i fish regularly at my local golf courses, even in winter months if caught nice fish. the biggest i have caught were close to 7lbs, and several of them (10 or more) over 5lbs. as well. ive even found one gold pond loaded with bluegills, some reaching over a pound as well as monster carp one of which i caught last season well over 30lbs. which was awesome. i never catch to eat in them but if you can find one to fish i highly recommend it for anyone!

I've fished in a golf course pond before. I acually caught an unofficial state record lmb (14 pounds!)

I caught a 12 pound Largemouth in OH from a golf course, stuck it in a cooler and took it home to my pond. That was like 10 years ago...wonder how big he is now?

Aren't a ton of golf course ponds in Florida infested with snakehead? I think i saw a show about them and the only place they kept going to catch them was a group of golf courses and some canal.

I have mine about 2-4 lbs I think what did you think it was. Haha that bass was retarted

There's a golf course I fish by me, and it's not even fishing. We go catching. Seriously every other cast you catch a bass. Avg size roughly 12-14" with a few 4+ pounders. Throw a green senko out there, money. There are some naaaaasty huge grass carp in there too.
