Good stuff which reminded me that tonight on NatGeo they will be showing some Hooked episodes which lead up to the new one;MonsterFishes of Australia.
 
Nice fish but did anyone else notice how many times the rod and reel combo changed back and forth from an egg beater to an overhead reel within the one supposed fight? Some editors shouldn't be in work.:ROFL:
 
glad you guys enjoy it, quite rare to see a live one documented on video , usually photos of dead ones , do post up of any if you guys know of .
 
This video makes me think of the Congolese fisherman who many have been eyewitness's. Of Super Goliaths hitting 200-300 pounds. which the stories include even crocs moving out of the area when the super goliaths show up in the same feeding grounds.
 
These fish are just on another level. King of the freshwater fish. I'm real gald he let that beast go home. Man that fish was STRONG.
