Goliath Tiger Fish

Hi, I have a goliath tiger fish that is around 5 inches. Can anybody tell me what kind of food I should give it. Any kind of help is
appreciated.

Depends on what it wants to eat. Some will only eat live. What was it eating when you bought it?

It ate guppies but I am afraid that it might give it some diseases like the goldfish, and it stopped eating them for a while.

Try putting a pellet in and see what happens. Maybe you'll get lucky. If he doesn't eat, try bloodworms.

Chopped up shrimp or tilapia can sometimes work, depends on how long he's gone without eating.
