Came across this pix on the web. I believe this was a group owned by user named SUPAJAP back in the day. Just posting for reference.

With the trained eye you can see the difference between a Goliath & Vittatus at the same size....

ha the pic changed, but looks like you guessed right blacktip. i think the differences are goliaths have a longer snout, no stripes, different tail (larger). with the young'uns i think its easiest to tell by the snout

It looks pretty easy to tell the difference when the two are together, but I can see making a mistake if you just have one or the other.
