its a secret
well i was at the pet store and picked up a couple of goliath worms. anyone feed them. i gave it to my packman frog, he seemed to like it. i cut off the spike and crushed his head, anyone with any feed back that have used them?
thanks
Rob

You dont need to remove the head. Dont feed them from the wild. And dont even bother, they are way to expensive and time-consuming to start a colony. But if you just happened to pick up a few at the store, they make nice treats.

i heard they are really high in protien... what about the lil spike on the but end of it. i cut it off. is that reauired?

Nope. :)

I've kept them as pets. they turn into the most awesome moths ever. Like the size of a sparrow and the fly like hummingbirds.

Nah, they are hornworms... they grow up to be moths.

Hornworms are the massive green worms that are also called tomato or tobacco worms. They get about 4 or 5 inches and metamorphose into huge moths called hummingbird moths. Superworms are rather like a giant mealworm that get about 3 inches and turn into beetles. Hard shelled worms are beetles and soft bodied worms are butterflies and moths.

Err, a few soft bodied worms are beetles too, but they are called grubs not caterpillars.
