I have a female red terror and a male jag I'm gonna breed them when the female is up to par, I will most likely keep at least one and grow it out, what do you guys think

Sounds interesting.... Don't know if you already know or not ,its been done before I believe they're called manacondas.... i have seen a picture on the net that was probably a male... From what I can recollect it had a goldish body..with like a faint jag pattern....if a female I would think it would be more reddish... I got mixed feelings about hybrids I didn't seek out to create any but nevertheless I have two that I have kept when it accidentally happened in one of my tanks... you might have more luck if it was a female jag you attempt this with ....it seems like the females are more willing to spawn with another type of fish .. And also since you got a female jag that is already spawned before( from what I gather in your other threads) ....My male Tex and female jag spawned through a divider, eggs fertilized from a significant distance away, a textbook interspecies spawn when all I was trying to do is keep them apart lol .. I showed you my bigger one in your other thread here's a pic of my smaller male tex jag.... This one looks more jag ...I don't feel too guilty about them because apparently the males are sterile.( Have also read that before) one of mine (the larger one)has spawned with one of my female Jags numerous times and never produced any fry.... I could imagine a jag festae hybrid looking like a bigger red tiger mota female.. Here's a pic of my little female Mota that's been through a lot.... Just my random thoughts and info ...good luck with your project.... I'm not going to lecture you about hybrids I'll save that for others.....:)
