Gonna get New Cichlids

Hey.

I got a 250 lt Aqaurium and i want some new fishes.

i want a Fish there not breedning like Hell But still breeding.
it need to be a South central America Cichlid.

Sry for my Really bad english but i hope you can help me Guys.

What kind of fish do you have now ?

did you have any in mind already? any kind of color you'd like them to be?

there are plenty of options for that aquarium.can do a mix with a midas,jack dempsey,green terror,jaguar,tiger oscar,firemouth,ect.

215 litre is going to fill up pretty fast with adult cichlids. But, one thing I thought of doing in my tank of comparable size is raising a small group of Rams. Since they grow to only around 4" in length, I feel that 4 or 5 would be fine. There would still be room for a couple of tank-mates (BN Pleco for example).

there are plenty of options for that aquarium.can do a mix with a midas,jack dempsey,green terror,jaguar,tiger oscar,firemouth,ect.

250 liters is only around 65 gallons. I wouldn't recommend any large cichlids for this tank. Go with small to medium stuff.

id say green terrors, jack dempseys and not jaguars or midas for sure because they will kill ANYTHING you put in the tank to protect the young and also jaguars get to a foot+ in size

i got four firemouths and i have another aquarium with a pair of gt They had breed today but after the male has fertilzides the eggs she is just smacking him away and then protect them for him.

Should i move him to my 250 litre with he 4 firemuths THe gt. It's second time they breed but the first time the male eated the fry and it was only the female there was taking care of them should i move him to 250 litre. Cause i don't want him to eat them again
