Hi,
I am cleaning out a fiberglass tub, originally constructed for the aquaculture industry with the intention to use it as a sump. I got the tub from a guy who used to breed tomato frogs; but for some reason he put tape inside it. The only way I was able to remove all the sticky gunk was to spray it with "Goo Gone" and scrape it off with a razor. The gunk is gone, but I am concerned with residual "Goo Gone" polluting my system. "Goo Gone" is an oily liquid, seems like mostly mineral spirits. I've sprayed the tub with high pressure water and wiped it down with a towel but the residue remains.
Any ideas how to get rid of "Goo Gone" residue?
Do I need to be concerned?
THANKS!
