Good Africans for an 1100 gallon tank?

Just starting to cycle an 100 gallon tank. In toronto we have hard water and high ph so I'm thinking maybe some big rift lake cichlids. Which ones get really big?

Red empress........or my fav Macrothalmus (long silver open water malawi predator).........Fronts............eye biters...........

I'd go with some Buccochromis Rhoadesii "Yellow Lepturus" or Malawi Hawk's. These guys can reach 16".

1100 gallons....24 feet long

How are you planning on laying out this tank?
Mbuna will need a lot of rock work but with a tank 24 feet long you might be able to set up a couple of isolated reefs colonized by differant species. That would be an amzing setup?
Where abouts in T.O.?

In Mississauga. I'm not thinking colonies......I'm more thinking 12 big fish and was wondering what africans could go with silver arowana, jaguar cichlid, etc.
