Hi guys, looking for a good algae eater for a 125 gallon tank. Right now in the tank i have a jewel cichlid, firemouth, convict, cuban, synodontis, and red tail chalceus. Looking for something to help out with algae other than a flagtail prochilodus as i have one already in my other tank.

If you can get one- bangana behri (sp) is the best algae eater hands down! A bit mean too, should fit right in.

I use use bristlenose on my 5ft with african cichlids and a sailfin and goldspot pleco in my 6ft Australia native tank. I never have to clean my glass or plants for algae.

I just picked up a 4in female bristlenose yesterday. She is hiding right now but seems to be doing fine. Thanks for all the suggestions.
