good and bad news

yesterday I struck a deal on a yellow throated plated lizard and all of it's stuff
it came with tank exo terra fixtures(I dont know about you but these are 30 bucks each here) all the exo terra water dishes and caves and a big log thing
well he is very nice but freaks out a lot

the bad news is that I took my PTS and chameleon out and as usual let the chameleon go in his tree and the PTS next to me
well then the neighbor came over and asked what the skink was I go over talk for no more than 3 minutes then come back, no cham

we pull up boards in the deck, no cham look everywhere, brib little kids to help find

thats when I spotted him at our huge maple tree
he was just at the base and I tell you that you have never seen a person up a tree as fast as i was
I had him by the tail at one point but he squirmed away to the top of the tree and there he has been since

at one point there was me my brother and my dad all in the tree but no luck

Im still optimistic as a guy on the chameleon forums found his after a week and a half in a big tree
 
Oh boy:nilly:You should try to spot him first and then ask the fire figthers for help. Next time build them a outdoor cage to be safe;)
 
well I haven't spotted him since yesterday so he's either still hiding or the crows got him as there is a crows nest right next door :(
 
I FOUND HIM!!!! I was walking from the bus and I looked around then looked at his cage that we put out to see if he would return home and there he was I think I had caught him coming down for the shade as it was very hot today
it was like he just wanted to go on vacation or something!

well he is never leaving without being put in a cage out there or having a zilla leash on

ah Im so happy :)
 
might sound stupid but if u can locate him try and find a branch big enough to get him to climb onto and try and harvest him down.. ll i ccan think of
 
Very nice. Happy to hear hes home safe. Good thing its a cham and he can blend to avoid all the predators out there.

lol it was a bit of an inside joke so I guess i should share

my mother was at the petshop and she sees them takes it home and if you know chams you can guess what was next, there was hissing screaming and a bit of blood :ROFL:
