Got some good news and some bad news.

Bad news:
My fish somehow managed to jump out of my tank and dry up on my floor

Good news:
The little bastard lived.

Problem: where his scales dried to the floor there is a small film of slime and the area around this has inflamed blood vessels.

What do i use to fix this or should i just let it go? I will get some pics soon.

it seems to me that salt and bumping the temp works for everything, and in this case i would give it a sure shot, never heard of a fish jumping and living lucky guy;)

Any of the slime coat additives such as stress coat will help the healing process. Just keep an eye out for infections and your fish has an extra life

add stress coat, crank up temperature, watch for fungus or parasites. if a fish was that stressed, its nervous system is in shock and it's extremely susceptible to disease.

I once had a clown loach jump, found him sometime later, not sure when he jumped as I was out of the house for awhile, I find him all dry on the floor and just instant sadness, he was such a character for a little guy.. so i pick him up and he wiggles, very slowly put him back in the tank and within a few hours he's back to life, although from then on he acted completely different. Almost like it suffered brain damage.

He lived a happy healthy life till my parents started taking care of the tank and killed him :(
