Good and bad news

Well today I went a little fish shopping at a LFS and picked up a juvi Gold Saum at maybe 2". Already has a nice orange on the fins and Dark Blue speckaling. Now for bad news I just had to finally euthanize my Zaliosus. I felt it was the best for him as he was suffering through his healing process and wasn't getting better. R.I.P Zalio... I will get pics of the little GS when he gets all settled. Probably tomorrow or the next day so be a little patient.

GL on the gold saum, i thought the zaliosus was the aggressor? the one beating others not being beaten?

He was the aggressor when he was in the 125 but one day he was eating like a maniac and hit hiw eye/head on my heater clips and caused trauma to his eye which caused pop eye and I treated him with melafix and 50% WC a day with 0ppm amonia and so on with only 3ppm nitrate and he just got worse. He got infected and it was getting serious so I decided to send him to fishy heaven to end the suffering. His injuries were pretty serious so it was almost helpless from the start.

Holy crap! He is super aggro even at 2". He is banging the glass even more than my 6" Jag! Looks like he already settled in and is tearing up plants and everything. I am not even exagerating anything. I am going to see if he will eat and then I'll know for sure if he is settled in.
