I was ‘surfing the web’ again, and came across another good article, rather humorous and astonishing at the same time. Amazing how a series of unplanned events can clip into national news. And all this happened just a few short miles from where I live! Well worth the read just for the amusement of it.

Be aware that this article is nearly 3 years dated, I was just shocked I had not heard of it at (least in my local area) before. Enjoy.

GEEZ!!!! "powerful jaws lined with razor-sharp teeth capable of devouring 16cm of flesh with each bite."

That's a 6 1/2 inch bite radius, folks. That would make RBPs about 4 feet long.

haha it seems we all have a story for our areas its a shame people still release exotic fish into local waters,if i had it my way you would need to be registered to own certain species of fish but thats my humble opinion.

Amazing coincidence. Wish someone would drop a RBP into my boat.

It’s a shame the River Thames is so dirty…

…I would have loved to of seen the look on the Captain’s face when he saw a piranha on deck and all his tourists splashing in the water below!

If the seagulls keep this up (instead of stealing my chips and poo’ing on me) I won’t have to spend so much on imports for my future piranha collections!
