good background color

what would be a good color for ebjd? and how would i mak the back ground not sure about painting but maybe taping pieces of colored paper on the back.would that work?

It'll work until water is spilled on it repeatedly.

I know...Maybe you are careful but when I mess around my tank, water occasionally would splash everywhere.

This is what you can do...use the paper you intend to use, splash water on it, let it dry and do it again for a while and see how the paper will look...For most paper, after a while it will discolor and become ugly.

When it gets wet its gonna fall apart or the ink will run. Petco typically charges $2 a foot for their background, I personally like the blue/black one because you could switch to either color anytime you want.

and if you tape colored paper on the back, might as well buy those solid backgrounds they sell. They are cheap; what you can do it attach valcro on it as well as on the fishtank and you don't even need tape.

Black yard bags work well too. You may have them in your shed/garage already
