International caviar trade banned --interesting news, quite surprising that somebody actually took action instead of sitting around and waiting for them to go extinct. But the bad news is that the populations must be so severely depleted in order to warrant something like this, that it's unlikely they'll ever recover, especially with the increase in poaching that will soon take place due to this

Good thing. I always thought it was stupid to eat caviar anyways. There are so many other good things in life you can eat...like potato chips

I doubt it will help much, most beluga and Caspian sea caviar sold now is illegally caught and marketed.
